What We Do
Peace Tree Parks Non-Profit Organization was founded in 2015 with the mission to improve the access that Detroit residents have to fresh organic produce. To accomplish this we have created two programs, our residential garden and our community garden program. We encourage community members of all ages to join us as partners, sponsors, or volunteers. We’d love to put a garden in your backyard!

Our residential garden program is for all residents of Metro Detroit that are looking to own and maintain their very own organic garden. All gardens are built and furnished by Peace Tree Parks members and volunteers. Click the link below to sign up for the 2021 season!
Our community garden program is geared toward supporting residents in close proximity to our community garden locations to provide a space to go to for peace, tranquility, and fresh organic produce. Through the help of our community partners and volunteers, we are able to continuously develop and maintain our gardens for the community to enjoy. We encourage community members of all ages to come out and volunteer!
